Jesus The Lord our Salvation

People of the world before I talk about How Jesus Himself is our Salvation, We need to understand the plight of man. Why is this one may ask? This is because once we understand the plight of man and the very sinfulness of man, we will then realize how desperately we need the salvation of Christ.

The Plight of Man

Although man was created in the image of God and in his likeness, he fell into sin and is lost. The Bible plainly teaches that we as sinful human beings in it of ourselves are hopeless, helpless, powerless, and incapable of saving ourselves from our own sinful condition. The Bible plainly teaches that we humans are enslaved to sin apart from Jesus Christ, and we need a divine rescue from our sin once and for all through the Savior (Jesus). We believe that all men are depraved sinners, whose hearts are deceitful and desperately wicked apart from Christ and the indwelling Person of the Holy Spirit. This is true of all men; and except a man be born again by the Holy Spirit, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (Genesis 1:26-27; John 3:3; Romans 3:10, 23) (Isaiah 64:6) (John 8:34) (Proverbs 14:12) (James 2:10) (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Titus 3:5-7) (John 14:6) (Acts 4:12). The bible says all our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). The bible says no one is righteous no not one (Romans 3:10). The bible says we all have sinned against God and fallen short of his glory (Romans 3:23). The Bible says we have no righteousness of our own (Philippians 3:9). Now since this is indeed true that we have no righteousness of our own, we now need a Savior from God (to save us) from our own sin's eternal penalty. Since we ourselves have sinned against a Holy perfect God, and since we have no righteousness of our own, we cannot save ourselves from our own sinful condition. The bible says we now need The Savior Jesus Christ. We now need Jesus’ righteousness to be saved by God.

When people think about salvation (when they think about being saved that is) they think they (themselves) must do something for God to be saved by Him. The Holy Bible teaches the exact opposite. The Bible teaches that God is the one (through Christ) who has already done everything for us to be saved by Him. The bible teaches that Jesus is the one who has died on the cross for us (on our behalf) so that we can be saved by Him. Isn't that amazing? So if you truly understand What God is saying through His Word this is the revelation revealed unto you "It’s not what we do for him that saves us, it’s what we believe Jesus has already done for us on that cross that save us!" The bible teaches we must believe in the finished work of Jesus on that cross, if we want to be forgiven of all ours sins and be saved by a Holy God.

Many people believe that they will be saved because they’re a good person but what does the bible say about that? Does the bible teach we will be saved because we are good people? The answer is no. So, what does the Bible say one may ask? The bible says we are not saved by our works or good deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9). The bible says we are saved by the grace of God through our Faith in His Only Begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16) (Ephesians 2:8-9). When a sinner believes that Jesus Christ is the sinless Son of God (The one and only Savior of the world who has died on the cross to save them from their sins), God then will save that person because of their faith in His Son Jesus (John 3:16) (1 John 5:11-13) (Romans 10:9-13). The bible says without faith it is impossible (impossible) to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Jesus said if you do not believe in the one, I claim to be you will indeed die in your sins (John 8:24)!

Therefore, it is imperative for you as a sinner to believe in whom Jesus really claimed to be!

Jesus also said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16). One may ask. So, Who is God’s Only Begotten Son? The Bible tells us He is the Lord Jesus Christ. Read (John 3:16-18) (1 John 2:22-23) (1 John 3:23-24) (1 John 4:1-6, 14-15) (1 John 5:1-13, 20) (Matthew 3:16-17) (Matthew 14:33) (Matthew 17:5) (Matthew 26:62-64) (Luke 1:26-38) (John 8:23-25).

People of the world Salvation is about receiving a person (Jesus) into our hearts and lives

People of the world Salvation is received and not achieved

You cannot achieve salvation- You must receive salvation from a person (That person is the Lord Jesus Christ). The Lord Himself is our salvation! Yes indeed, Jesus is your salvation. Once you receive Him you have salvation. Anyone who ultimately rejects Jesus Christ does not have salvation this is because salvation is in him alone. For He is our salvation. Read (1 John 5:11-13) (John 1:12) (John 3:16-18) (John 8:24)!

There are some important truths about Salvation that I would like to share with you people of the world. First of all, no one deserves salvation for all are sinners who have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23), however God loves us all so much that He desires for none to perish but wants all to come to repentance and faith in His Son Jesus (Mark 1:15) (2 Peter 3:9). People of the world God loves us so much He wants to save us more than we want to be saved. You cannot earn your salvation either (you cannot work for it that is) it is a free gift that God himself provides (that God himself gives that is) by his grace and mercy to the sinner who believes that Jesus died for them on the cross and arose from the grave. Therefore, all the glory goes to God and not man. You cannot pay or buy your salvation either it is not for sale, Jesus has already paid the full price for you to enter heaven by his sacrifice on the cross for you and by his glorious bodily resurrection from the dead. Everyone can receive this free gift of Everlasting life through Jesus if they would just believe that He died on the cross for their sins and believe He arose again from the grave (John 3:16-18) (Romans 10:9-13) (1 Timothy 1:15). Jesus loves all people (I repeat all people) and he wants all people to come to him to be saved (John 10:9) (John 14:6) (Romans 10:13) (Acts 16:30-31).

The bible tells us that the Lord himself is our salvation. Eternal Salvation is much more than just a length of time or an eternal gift that God gives us when we believe in His Son Jesus, the revelation that God's Spirit is revealing unto you is this "Salvation is a person." When God saves us through (Christ Jesus) He gives us the best gift of all HIMSELF!

Many people join a religion thinking that will save them. They are terribly deceived. Religion has not saved one person. No religion saves anyone, It is a specific person that all people in the world desperately need. His name is Jesus. Again I say, religion has not and cannot save one person. People of the world you don’t need a religion you need a person. He is the sinless Savior of the world (The sinless Lamb of God) Jesus Christ. Once you believe in Him you will be saved by God everlastingly. For He (Jesus The Lord) is our salvation!
